Serpent Custom by MikeTehFox Serpent Custom by MikeTehFox
Round 2! This time featuring Serpent Custom, From Gundam Wing Endless Waltz!

In the end I went with a slightly different color sceme, but I like how it turned out.

No? The Serpent custom is from the AC timeline, not the UC timeline.

Looks to be a mastergrade gundam judging by the hands and general detail, where did you find this model? I've looked across a lot of sites but haven't seen anything for a Serpent

It's just a "High" Grade, 1/100th.

The Model kits from this far back had semi-posable hands, it wasn't until later they tended to settle into the more "modular" hands you tend to see in today's High and sometimes Master Grades.

Yeah I have a 1/100 Master Grade Gouf Custom. This was my first MG kit and was astonished by the detail this kit had.

I could never understand how such a massive barrel of beef could be given the name "Serpent"

Heavy Arms won't be happy about this.

Interesting.

Nice. Though I generally dislike Gundam Wing as a whole, the trooper-type non-Gundam designs were always pretty cool to me.

Nice work here, but I've always wondered when it comes to mechs with numerous gattling-type guns, where do they store all the ammo?

... they are beam gatlings, after all; therefore, they don't need to store large amounts of solid cartridges...

In Bags of Infinite Holding of course!

Thought I suppose it also depends on how true to reality you want to be.

I've always been a big fan of using wormholes to transfer ammo from warehouses, or storing it in pocket dimensions but idk if this was ever explained in any of these shows where gattling guns were utilized routinely.

Well in Gundam Wing Heavyarms routinely ran out of ammo, other did as well to prove a point(usually that they should/had to stop fighting), but it wasn't a regular thing.

The drums are attached to the side of each barrel mechanism (6 barrels to 1 drum), the rounds are probably a lower caliber than say a rifle, but are fired at a much higher rpm. In any case the Gatlings in gundam wing seemed to run out of ammo quickly (even on Heavyarms).

The colours work well for it, makes it look like a mobile suit that would be used in a forest area. The guns definitely give a 'You really don't want to annoy me' look.
